Boys HS Club Top 50 2024: Week 13 Not much in the way of changes over the last two weeks in the Top 10, but there's a lot of change lower down. Teams that have been relatively idle drop out as various teams that have logged good results and are active come in.
Registration Open for Great Northwest Challenge The Great Northwest Challenge 15-a-side HS select-side tournament is back for 2024 and registration is open. The tournament will be held June 21-22, 2024, with a USA Rugby Talent ID Day scheduled for June 20.
Boys School Top 50 2024: Week 13 We waited a week thanks to a slow Easter Weekend, but there aren't a lot of shifts anyway. The big changes in the School Top 50 include Georgetown Prep up five spots after a win over Fairfield Prep, and Wichita and Weymouth joining the Top 50 after a tie and a win vs ranked teams, respectively.
Big Weekend for Charlotte Tigers Despite it being Spring Break, the Charlotte Tigers had some important games to play over the weekend, taking on two ranked opponents, including one that was a key one for getting into the Boys HS Rugby National Championships. On Saturday, the Tigers were on the road at the Clayton Copperheads. This was a close game throughout the first half, with the teams trading tries.
Tempe Downs Tucson Tempe improved to 6-2 after a 37-12 victory over Tucson in Arizona. This was Tempe's first game since mid-March, when they beat Brophy Prep 57-12. Working methodically through the phases Tempe was able to build a nice three-try lead. But penalties and mistakes started to creep into their game and Tucson was able to punish those to score trice to get back into the game.
