Leaders Showing Themselves in Pennsylvania

Doylestown continues to lead the way in Rugby Pennsylvania's D1, but there are a number of contenders in D2.

Doylestown defeated LaSalle College High School on a cold, blustery SUnday.

This was a well-played and fast game and Doylestown had to work hard for their tries.

St. Thomas On to Texas Final

St. Thomas of Houston got by Strake Jesuit 28-17 in the Texas Varsity semifinals Friday.

They await the winner of Celina and Dallas Jesuit.

This was a very well-attended match and carried with it some of that classic Texas HS sports atmosphere.

Freshman lock Zane Murray got St. Thomas going with a try within two minutes, but after that it was an almighty tussle.

NorCal Latest: SFGG Still On Top, Lamo Wins Key Game

San Francisco Golden Gate still leads the Rugby NorCal Club Premier league after a tense win over San Mateo 28-26.

SFGG needed their goalkicking as San Mateo scored right at the end and that try could easily have tied or won the game if the conversions hadn't gone over for the visitors.

In a wild atmosphere these two squads went at it.

Herriman Over Cavemen But Not Much Settled in Utah

The question as to who is the best team in Utah wasn't really settled all that convincingly Friday.

Herriman did indeed beat Cavemen to the tune of 19-14, scoring on the final play of the game, but this was a game that was back and forth, at least in momentum, all evening. Cavemen had a try called back on a somewhat strange call.
