St. Ignatius Wraps Argentina Tour with Three Close Games
The Saint Ignatius High School Wildcats rugby team finished up their tour of Argentina with three games against Mar del Plata Rugby Club on April 4.
All three games were very competitive, with the C side team losing 36-25 in a thriller, the B side being edged 22-15, and the A side losing 22-17.
Pelham Wins Close Spring Break Game Over Fairfield
Pelham HS defeated Fairfield Rugby Club on Thursday, edging there Connecticut team 22-19.
This was a Spring Break game for both and a good challenge.
Xavier HS Triumphs in Canadian Trip
“In three years of playing varsity, I think that was the best Xavier Rugby has played,” said senior fullback Padraig Long and Man of the Match when describing the Knight’s win over Shawnigan Lake High School, a top tier rugby program in Canada.
St. Ignatius Tested In Many Ways on Argentina Tour
St. Ignatius of Cleveland is on tour in Argentina and GRR is with them.
Currently they have played seven matches at three different levels, going 3-4. Their Varsity side is 1-1.
