There will be a Los Angeles Invitational held during the tournament weekend, and it’s expected to be huge.
The Battle For The Mitten is Back, and Bigger and Better
It’s that time again as the Michigan State Spartans host the University of Michigan Wolverines in the Battle For The Mitten.
A classic rivalry match between these two colleges, the event has been built up into something more under the leadership of Michigan State player Josh Ressio. He has spearheaded this idea into a rugby event that draws thousands of fans.
NAI 7s Signals Big Step Forward
The North American Invitational 7s completed its run of over 400 games with nine champions, and some observations from your learned editor.

The schedule fo the NAI 7s, held August 2-3 in Salt Lake City, Utah, is out.
Over 80 teams are competing in brackets from U14 to U20, with the North American HS 7s (NAHS 7s) Series part of that for both boys and girls.
Atlantis leads both NAHS series at the moment.
NA Lions Coaches Named For Busy 2019
The North American Lions elite-level HS touring 7s program has named its coaches for 2019.
The program will send a boys team to three different tournaments: the Tournoi Des Capitales in Paris, the Dubai7s (which they won in 2018), and the Rugbytown 7s in Glendale, CO. Meanwhile, a girls team will also go to Paris.
