This is the women's competition for NCAA Varsity programs.
American International College Director of Rugby Jameson Bonti has announced that Levi Edwards will be the Associate Head Men’s Rugby Coach, and in addition, one of the most decorated student-athletes in the history of AIC, Annekkia Ritter-Truxal, will remain at her alma mater as Associate Head Women’s Rugby Coach.
Edwards will assist in all aspects of the Men's program.
The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association has made its all-NIRA selections for DI.
Four players from champions Harvard are on the First Team All-DI, including Sorensen Award nominees Gemma Ogoke and Tiahna Padilla.
Two very different semifinals set up the NIRA DII/DIII championship match this coming weekend.
Harvard pushed aside an early Dartmouth try to roll powerfully to the NIRA final, beating the Big Green to make their 5th NIRA DI final in the last six seasons.
Paced by the powerful running of No. 8 Gemma Ogoke and the speed threat of Sana'a Lunon on the wing (both freshmen), the Crimson pulled away to win 45-10 and join Lindenwood in this year's final set for November 22.
