South Carolina Rugby Starts Campaign for Full-Time Coach
Alumni and friends of the South Carolina Men’s Rugby Club have launched an aggressive campaign to bring the program’s most noted alum back into the coaching fold as the university’s first paid head rugby coach.
The candidate should be familiar to long-time college rugby fans: John Roberts.
USA South Impresses in the Heat over Met NY U23s
The USA South Panthers U23s defeated the MetNY U23s 37-15 this past weekend in a clash of young select sides.
This was a 15s game and pitted players from college and just out of college. MetNY had won three games leading into this clash, which was played as a curtain-raiser for the Old Glory DC and Austin Gilgronis Major League Rugby game.
SCRC D1A, D2 Schedules Set
The SCRC has set its schedule for the fall of 2021, with, once again, a D1 and D2 men's collegiate conference in play.
The Men's D1AA conference will likely operate independently from any of the acronymic organizations (NCR, CRAA, ACR), but will find an end-of-fall postseason option within the CRAA framework.
