Iona v WJU Raises Questions
One of two games between two ranked teams, Iona at Wheeling Jesuit has much to recommend it. First of all, it's a Christian Brothers school (Iona), against a Jesuit school (guess which one that is).
Second, it's a club team that has undergone a major overhaul, mostly thank to the expansion of the coaching staff, against a varsity program that is still developing and growing.
Malcolm Double Leads WJU over WVAThe Wheeling Jesuit Rugby team turned in a solid performance Saturday to beat West Virginia 24-5 in a non-conference game. Collegiate All-American Peter Malcolm scored two tries on the day.
Varsity Warmup in Ohio
Wheeling Jesuit and Notre Dame College met Sunday in a preseason game between two varsity programs, with WJU coming out 26-7 winners.
It was a game designed to get both teams some on-field time as they gear up for their respective season - WJU is in Rugby East and will shoot for a DIA title this year, and Notre Dame College is in DII.

WHEELING, W.Va. – Wheeling Jesuit prop Max Lum has been in New Zealand sharpening his skills and got a rare treat, as he suited up with former New Zealand star Dan Carter.
