Twenty-five Lindenwood University rugby players are in California to get some tough competition before their conference season starts.
The Lions have been on the business end of a harsh lesson from St. Mary’s in previous years, so this time Head Coach JD Stephenson is looking to give the lesson at the beginning, rather than the end, of the season.

Life University laid down an impressive marker in winning their DIA semifinal over Lindenwood University 43-14.
In a very physical and sometimes chippy game, Life dominated field position and scoring in the first half. The Lions roared back in the second half to come within two tries, but Life put the dagger in late to win it.

After playing in a tough league that saw them score 63 points in four games, the Lions have unleashed their offensive capability in impressive fashion, scoring 69 on Colorado State and 59 on Air Force.
