Varsity Cup Names List of 2017 Teams

NEW YORK City (Varsity Cup Release) – The 2017 Penn Mutual Varsity Cup Rugby Championship kicks off once again this April with 14 teams vying in the April postseason to advance to May’s championship final.

Clemson Christens Field with Win

Clemson University opened up the teams new home rugby field, National Athletic Village Field, with a 48-10 defeat of South Carolina Saturday.

This was the first home game at Clemson since October of 2015. With a solid team defensive performance, the Tigers got a big day from loosehead prop Josh Dyson, who scored two tries and was inspiration in leading the pack.

Glendale, Colo. - August 25 sees eight college rugby teams clash at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colo. for the USA qualifying round for the Red Bull Uni 7s tournament.

Mid-South Games Good News for ASU, Clemson

Arkansas State and Clemson will be playing against Mid-South DIA opponents this coming 2016-17 season, but it won't be a full five-team conference just yet.
