Eagle Women Set for Dubai
CHULA VISTA, Calif. – The Women’s Eagles Sevens’ travel squad for the first leg of the 2014-15 World Rugby Women’s Sevens World Series has been announced.
Pool Set for Women World Series OpenerThe USA is in Pool A of the first tournament in the Women's Sevens World Series, which begins December 4 in Dubai. The Eagles join reigning champions New Zealand, Russia, and China in the pool. This season the standings are more important than ever, as the top four nations will gain automatic qualification to the 2016 Olympics.&
Canada, England Added to Women's 7s Series
The IRB has expanded the IRB Women's Sevens World Series, adding Canada and England to the series and making it a six-event circuit.
The USA returns with their tournament in Atlanta, Ga. March 14-15 (slightly later in the year than last time), while Rugby Canada's facility, Westhills Stadium, in Langford, BC will host Round 4 April 18-19.
