Tropical 7s Back for East and Keeps Growing
The Tropical 7s returns for Easter Weekend with 17 divisions and over 220 teams in action.
“We’re still growing and we are getting a lot of demand in certain divisions, especially Boys and Girls U18 Open divisions, and the U14 divisions,” said Tournament Director John Siner.

As you can imagine, we here at Goff Rugby Report Headquarters had a lot of work to do getting interviews done and finding snacks at the Tropical 7s.
Occasionally we were able to watch some rugby games. OK, we kid, a bit, but if there were five of us we couldn't speak to every team ... and we'd need over a dozen people to see every game.
Chasing the Dream for Boys Teams at Tropical 7s
Well it was a wild and sometimes unpredictable weekend for the Boys brackets at the Tropical 7s.
Here's a look at what happened.
Over 200 Teams Prepare for Tropical 7s
The Tropical 7s kicks off Friday at the Tampa Sportsplex in Florida, with over 200 teams in action in 14 brackets.
And while there are robust Elite brackets for boys and girls, it's interesting to note that the biggest brackets are Girls U18 Open (32 teams) and Boys U18 Open (30 teams).
Tropical 7s Introduces Academy for Individual Players Needing a Team
Tropical 7s is set for April 18-19 and once again 16 brackets, over 200 teams, on 15 fields in Tampa, Fla., but there's also a chance for players who haven't been able to find a team.
