Defending national single-school champs St. Ignatius ran out to a commanding 43-0 lead over LaSalle College High of Pennsylvania and held on to win 57-0.

Three well-regarded Boys single-school teams logged notable victories this weekend.

Gonzaga defeated #14 LaSalle out of Pennsylvania 62-10 on a very windy day at LaSalle's home field.
Dramatic Finishes Punctuate Ohio Boys Fall 7s Finals
St. Edward beat St. Ignatius on the final play of the game to take the Rugby Ohio Boys Fall 7s, and St. Ed's made it a double, winning the Shield competition, as well.
Rugby Ohio used the regular season to stratify the competitions, with one set of teams playing for the Cup, and a second tier playing for the Shield in the final tournament.
An All-Time Great Final Sees Herriman Champs
The Boys HS National Championships sparkled at the end, especially with the Herriman vs St. Ignatius single-school final.
Herriman lost a lead and gained it back to win in dramatic fashion 22-17 after losing the last two finals on the final play. In doing so, Herriman overcame a skilled, smart, and enormously brave St. Ignatius team in the program’s first National Championship.
