Amanda Berta opened the day with three tries for Penn State as they rolled over the NSCRO Select team. Kaitlyn Broughton scored two quick tries for Life to get them up 14-0, and they cruised from there 38-7 over Michigan.
Boston University pulled off a minor upset over Bloomsburg, scoring as the game ended to win.
Berta scored two more, one from deep in her 22, to pace Penn State to another blowout win. Corinne Heavner has been prominent on the scoresheet, too.
Life continued to push and shut out Temple with a pretty complete display. And ... as we predicted, Navy is looking good.
The rest of the day produced similar results. The big surprise team might have been Kutztown, which beat Ohio State and Arizona to finish 2-1. NSCRO impressed after that early loss. Michigan and Princeton finished 2-1, but really had to scrap to get there.
