The Tri State men’s DII college conference schedule is out, with RPI visiting Siena College in the first match of the year September 5.

Defending Tri-State North champions Vassar kick off the next day at SUNY New Paltz. With 2014 Tri State South champions Fairfield moving up to DIAA in the ECRC, the top team from the South from last year would be Sacred Heart, who finished 5-1 in the regular season. The Pioneers host Montclair State in their opener.

While those two conferences play toward a DII championship, the Central Conference plays toward the National Small College Rugby Organization championship, and in 2014-15 SUNY Oneonta made the top 16. After doing all that without a coach, Oneonta is looking for someone to coach the team who isn’t also a player. Interested? For Vassar, the big week will be October 4-10, when they host Marist (3-1 last season) and then travel to RPI (also 3-1 last fall).

In the South, Sacred Heart, Molloy, and NJIT all were close last year and could well be again. Molloy and Sacred Heart finish off the regular season games on October 18, and that game could well be for the South division.

Quarterfinals are held October 25, with the semis a week later and the DII and NSCRO conference finals November 8.
