Top Four in Big Ten Set
Indiana finished the Big Ten season undefeated, while Ohio State claimed 2nd with a win over Michigan Saturday.
IU defeated Wisconsin in what was far and away their closest Big Ten game of the season. Sparked by their experienced and talented backline, IU took an early lead, and held a 27-10 advantage at halftime. Wisconsin scored late, but couldn't close the gap further.
That loss dropped Wisconsin to 5-1, and Ohio State improved to 5-1 with a 65-17 defeat of Michigan. Tries from John Walsh and Ronan Forrestal got the Buckeyes going, and while Michigan answered with an unconverted try, Aaron Thomas and then Brandon Heidinger went over to make it 28-5. After that, the Buckeyes pulled away.
With that victory, Ohio State moved ahead of Wisconsin on standings points, despite the fact that Wisconsin beat OSU earlier in the season.
