This weekend we get to know who the Liberty Conference champion team is, who the MARC champion is, and the SCRC finalists.
We also get to see if NC State can clinch the Southern Conference. The SCRC has their semifinals, and outside of conferences, we have a really interesting matchup between last year's Lonestar champion, Sam Houston State, and Florida DIAA champion Florida State in neutral ground in New Orleans.

Liberty Finalists Set as We Check on NCR D1AA Playoffs
Both Liberty and MARC have 3rd-4th games, as well, and that's because of the at-large opportunities in the NCR playoffs. With this weekend's games, we'll know five of the nine NCR DIAA playoff teams. Presumably NCR will also inform us all as to who will play the Southern champ (likely NC State) in the lone play-in game. Our best is that will be the best-performing 3rd-4th team from this weekend. Liberty top two and MARC top two get a spot. MAC and SCRC only have the one playoff spot each, but there's a Quarterfinal spot for an at-large and chances are that would be for the closest finalists in those two championship rounds next week.
(Remember fans! NCR has its DIAA playoffs, but there are others, as well. So Heart of America teams play their national-level playoffs in the spring. We're still hopeful that CRAA and ACR will combine to make a HOA, NCRC, Lonestar, California, Gold Coast, and Florida championship.)
