It's playoff time in Florida for Boys HS rugby.

Four teams from Region 1 and four teams from Region 2 will compete in two rounds to determine a Region winner. However, each region finalist still gets a shot at the state title.

The Region 1 seeds are:

1. Tampa
2. Orlando
3. Cape Pirates
4. Jacksonville

Tampa, Orlando, and Cape Pirates all ended up 5-1 in the Region 1 standings. With head-to-head canceling each other out, and the tiebreaker that was points allowed per conference game. Tampe won that with 8.16/game, with Orlando 2nd and Tampa 3rd. Jacksonville was 4th with a 4-2 record.

Region 2 Seeds:

1. Cardinal Gibbons
2. Jupiter
3. Wellington
4. West Pines

On Saturday, Tampa will host Jacksonville and Cape Pirates will visit Orlando. West Pines is at Jupiter and Wellington is at Gibbons.

The next round is played March 24. The teams that win on March 17 will also play in a crossover semifinal on April 7, with the winners facing off in the state final on April 21.

The teams not in these playoffs are still playing, grouped together in a Division 2 playoffs with a championship set for April 21.

Teams will play in a Round Robin over four weeks. Naples (4-2) and Okapi (3-3) boasted the best regular-season records aong these teams:
