Notre Dame College hosts a qualifier for the USA Rugby College 7s Championships, with eight men’s college teams vying for a spot in the big tournament in Denver.

It’s a competitive field of teams, with Notre Dame College among the top seeds. The Falcons showed very well in the Las Vegas Invitational in February, and brings a straightforward, hard-nosed approach to their 7s.

But the Falcons will face some still competition as Miami, a resurgent Buffalo, and Ohio are in Pool A.

In Pool B, Bowling Green hopes to rebound from a less-than-optimal LVI, where they finished lost to Buffalo and Notre Dame College by slim margins. BGSU expects to be better than that and will put all they have into winning this tournament.

Cincinnati, Dayton, and an oncoming St. Bonaventure round out this pool.

Teams play a pool round-robin, with the top two from each pool going on to the Cup Semifinals.
