OK, let's get into the main event straight off.
With #1 Walsh losing, who is in the top spot. To be honest, you could pick any of the top three. Walsh did lose to Kutztown, but they have beaten Marian, Rio Grande, Wheeling, and, most importantly for this conversation, St. Bonaventure.
Bonnies, for their part, have beaten Siena, Belmont Abbey, Wheeling, and, most importantly for this conversation, Queens.
Queens just beat St. Thomas, and have also beaten Southern Nazarene, Kutztown, and Belmont Abbey. They have not, yet, played Walsh.
So really with that we could put anyone at #1. And we could also decide that Dartmouth or Brown should be up there. Our pick of Queens is just slightly based on them winning their games by a slightly larger margin than did SBU. That's about it.
We might see changes each week and a lot of additional movement. Since we have to wait until November 7 for Brown vs Dartmouth, and Walsh vs Queens won't be until October 31, all of these top five will shuffle around based on games where they don't play each other.
