NCR D1 Rankings Fall 2026 Week 7
Walsh is a little bit more vulnerable at the #1 ranking but holds on because they did win over Wheeling.
Wheeling gets a move up in our NCR D1 rankings, and we shift some things around. We weren't sure about that Wheeling win over Indiana but we have put it back in play and drop Indiana down a bit.
Men D1AA Rankings 2026-27 Week 8
The biggest result of the weekend was South Carolina defeating Tennessee 15-3.
That dropped Tennessee out of #2 and down to #11. But it was a close result, and we could easily throw that result out, or at least mitigate it, is Tennessee rebounds.

When would we move a team up to #1 past what is undoubtedly an excellent Cal team?
Well, we think, if you're undefeated, have beaten pretty much everyone by convincing margins, and then beat Life on the road, that's about it.
So Navy moves up to our #1.

When updating these rankings they started to look like we wouldn't have much to change, but as we worked our way through the list of 35, that assumption seemed to be wrong.

We took a week break from the NCR D1 rankings so there's a ton of data to go through for this week.
The multiple results for some of those teams is interesting because so many of the games are close. As a result we're making big shifts based on tight results. Aquinas beats Indiana Tech by three points? Yup, let's make a move. Michigan is within three of UCLA? Make a move.
