Well you see what happens when you've got a busy week.
We did our rankings for NCR D1 last week and then ... forgot to publish them. So all of the excitement of St. Bonaventure becoming #1 never materialized. Oh well. This week? Bonnies consolidates their place, having now beaten Army and Penn State. Notre Dame College, having tied Army, also anchors themselves at #4.
Siena vaults up after a fairly convincing win over a good Fairfield team, and Principia edges Marian, which is good for a four-spot bump.
We've been watching Southern Nazarene for some time, and while their schedule is a little bit weird, they keep securing victories so, yeah, in they go.
Soon we will also be doing a merged D1A/NCR D1 ranking. But we're expecting that to lean D1A. Bonnies has beaten very good D1A teams, but for the most part, when we track NCR D1 vs D1A, it seems to lean D1A, especially when it's ranked teams. We'll go deeper into the data later on to see if that impression is borne out in fact.
