In a competitive and well-organized tournament, Molloy College won the Saratoga 7s in upstate New York, defeating SUNY Oswego in the final.

Andre Florent was the tournament MVP as Molloy 

The tournament was held on two regulation fields at the Saratoga Rugby Grounds. Hartford and Molloy won their pools:

Oswego was outstanding in their win over Hartford, speeding by with their quick backs, and beat Hartford 24-12. Molloy slammed their rivals RPI 35-5.

Then in the final, Molloy beat Oswego 26-12.
