More teams were looking for tight five players but also taking a sht at a young, American flyhalf in the MLR draft.

Of the 13 picks, eight played in D1A, four play in NCR D1, and one plays in Canada.

Three of the first-round players were tight-five players, however two more might migrate there. Five are loose forwards and five are backs, including three that play a high percentage of their games at flyhalf.
