The Top College Players Who Didn't Get Picked in the MLR Draft

The MLR draft is finished with 14 players picked, with Logan Ballinger and Solomon Williams going #1 and #2, respectively.

Those two players were Rudy Scholz Award finalists as the top men's college player in the country. Williams ended up winning the award.

Scholz Finalists Head MLR Draft Picks

Logan Ballinger is the #1 pick in the 2026 Major League Rugby draft.

The soft-spoken, hard-hitting loose forward from Life University (and, before that, Boca Juniors in Florida), let his play do that talking and was snapped up by Old Glory DC in the first pick of Round 1 on Thursday.
