The Mira Costa Girls rugby team ran their win streak to 23 consecutive games and capped off their 7s season with a SCIRF championship.
The Lady Mustangs were in dominant form in the final tournament, outscoring their opposition 117-12 in four games, with three shutouts.
Mira Costa used brute strength on occasion as well as finesse. Six different players scored on the day with flyhalf Dora Tuitupou running the attack and, as often as not, finishing off the movements. She ended up with 52 points from 11 conversions and six tries.
Tuitupou will be playing at Brown next season after a brilliant four years at Mira Costa.
