Did St. Bonaventure do enough to retain the #2 ranking?

Well, when #2 plays #4 on the road and #2 wins by 3 points, we'd say that fits right into where they seem to be.

As we go through the rankings this fall we are going to have to toss out a result here and there. Walsh's lopsided loss to Army, at the moment, seems like a result to toss out. It wasn't a conference game and while their in-NCR results have been very good, we feel we can move the Cavaliers up after their win over Wheeling.

Belmont Abbey gets a boost after edging Kutztown, but they will have to back that up. Meanwhile, Fairfield gets back into the Top 20 after a win over Syracuse.

This coming week, we don't see a lot of top-ranked teams playing against each other. That looks to be the week after. What we might see, however, is a couple of litmus-test clashes in the 15-20 range.
