The top teams do seem to be the top teams in NCR D1, but we do have some shifting going on.
We really do think Notre Dame is very good, and we saw them play against Walsh early in the season. They lost that game but the Irish showed they had potential to do something special this year.
We're not surprised that Walsh beat Belmont Abbey relatively comfortably. It did seem like that was in the cards. Queens over St. Bonaventure, well we called that.
But, still, Brown, Queens, Bonnies, Walsh, Dartmouth, potentially Marian or UND could win NCR's championship.
Maybe even Indiana? They certainly didn't like having to play the Big 10 final in half a foot of snow, but they get another shot.
This coming week we've got St. Bonaventure, Indiana, Thomas More, Dartmouth, Southern Nazarene, Walsh, Belmont Abbey, and Wheeling all in action.
As we understand it, the matchups are:
Belmont Abbey at Thomas More
Walsh at Indiana
Wheeling at Dartmouth, and
SNU at Bonnies
