Men Fall DI College Rankings Week #4

In these latest Men's DI College fall rankings, we have to acknowledge that we can make mistakes.

The mistakes aren't huge, and are always fixable. Mistake #1 as sort of a half-mistake. We were ranking Clemson, but Clemson's schedule, which at one point appeared to have some fall games, now doesn't have any fall games, so Clemson isn't in the fall rankings (that's how it works). Second, we had a team listed twice last week. That's wrong, no matter how you slice it. We fixed that. And then we had Lindenwood-Belleville ranked below Tennessee, a team L-B beat earlier this season.

Now, that's a different kettle of Lynx, as we have a feeling Tennessee might win that game with all of their horses on the field ... maybe. But the Vols have to do something more than what they've been doing (beating Kentucky, for example) to really justify such a move. So we've got that changed back to having Lindenwood-Belleville ahead.

Pitt drops out after losing to unranked Temple. It's a tough call, because we like Pitt a lot and think the Panthers might well be worth a look in the rankings again. We'll see if we expand this to 50 in the next few weeks. Temple moves in. Also in is Missouri, if they won the big game in the Heart of America. Also moving into the rankings is Texas State, which did it on a loss ... but a two-point loss to ranked North Texas. Good enough for us at the moment.
