This is what happens when you let things slide.
We haven't run the DI rankings for a couple of weeks, and so of course there have been many results that move everything around.
Right now we're waiting on some teams such as Texas State and LSU and a few others that we haven't seen a lot of. Maryland has lost to a bunch of good teams by a point or two each. We wanted to put them in, but cut off the list at 45 and Maryland looks to be 46th or so - sorry Terps!
Penn State has done nothing to disabuse us of the notion that they are #1 among fall teams. We move Air Force just past Navy because Air Force beat Navy (albeit at home by one point), and then Colorado State beat Air Force, so CSU moves ahead of Air Force and Navy.
Notre Dame College already beat Navy, so should stay ahead of them, and Davenport lost to NDC by two points ... so it really has to be NDC, Davenport, Colorado State, AFA, Navy in that order.
Wheeling Jesuit has improved since their early loss to Notre Dame College, and moves up. Kutztown, which lost to WJU, has to move behind the Cardinals.
We've added ten teams to the Top 45, with most of those additions being in the Chesapeake. Why? Because they keep beating each other, and keep it close. Mount Saint Mary's lost by four to WJU, and so that gives us an idea where to start. Virginia Tech beat MSM, but lost to Towson. Towson beat Va Tech but lost to JMU. JMU beat Towson, Georgetown, and Salisbury, but lost to Mount Saint Mary's. It's confused. We arrange them the best we can.
