Here are the Men's DII College games for this weekend.
In the WIIL, Milwaukee and Stout will have a big clash to see who is still up for a playoff spot.
It's still very, very early days in the Tri-State, but King's Point has started strong. RPI v Hofstra, Sacred Heart v Union, and William Paterson v Molloy are all games to watch.
Geneseo v LeMoyne is a good game in Upstate NY as Geneseo has started well.
"Too many penalties and lack of communication," were problems for Geneseo last week, said Head Coach Stephen Parker, although Geneseo beat RIT 45-0. "There were a lot of positives to take away from the game."
No. 8 and captain Joe Goldbloom was superb, scored a try, and left tacklers in his wake. Prop Mike Perrino Jr. and lock Brian Drewes ran hard and sucked in defenders. Wing Jon Ceide was explosive on his runs.
All of that meant Geneseo is 2-0.
In the Southern Appalachian State and The Citadel look to build on some positives, while in the Northeast, Norwich has been impressive in the early going.
Other games that jump out at us: Vermont v NEC, Mines v Montana State, VMI v Washington and Lee, Scranton v Millersville, and Minnesota-Duluth v North Dakota State.
