In this latest edition of the Goff Rugby Report Men's DI College Rankings, we have dropped Grand Canyon and Western Michigan out of the Top 50, but that is mostly because Missouri and Sacramento State continue to play well and deserve to be moved up.
GCU, WMU, join what is for us a long list of rankable teams that aren't in the top 50 - Cincinnati, Colgate, MTSU, James Madison, Washington State ... the list is pretty long.
Further up in the rankings there's a little movement. Perhaps the big piece of news is that Life, after beating Lindenwood, Davenport, and now Arkansas State, moves from #4 to #2. St. Mary's had a tough weekend, barely beating Utah and then losing to BYU. But those results weren't out of place with the rankings, and maybe we give the Gaels a bit of a mulligan on the injury thing combined with the two-games-in-a-weekend thing. Had Arkansas State beaten Life, then ASU likely would have slipped down.
Indiana - we're bullish on Indiana. They keep winning. They keep playing well. Up they move once more. San Diego State moves up nine places after beating Cal Poly. But it's a weird one, because had the final conversion in the game gone over, we might not have moved them at all ...
