The biggest result of the weekend was South Carolina defeating Tennessee 15-3.
That dropped Tennessee out of #2 and down to #11. But it was a close result, and we could easily throw that result out, or at least mitigate it, is Tennessee rebounds.
At the same time, South Carolina, which moves to #10, could see that ranking change significantly depending on their follow-up results. The main follow-up game will be this coming weekend against Kentucky. If USC loses, but is close, or if they win, they will move up, likely.
If they get hit hard, they are vulnerable to move down.
Iowa State made a case for #1 last week and are poised to take that spot if anything else changes. The Northwest teams get going this weekend and that could change the calculations, too.
Louisville vs Bowling Green is the rematch. This could be a turning point moment for either of these teams.
Mizzou, Kansas, and Oklahoma look to be the best out of the Great Plains; it's worth keeping an eye on Missouri.
