LSU notched an impressive non-conference victory Saturday with a 55-12 defeat of Alabama.

LSU opened the scoring with a try from Brennan Falcon, but the Tide equalized moments later. Christian Brower muscled his way over to give LSU the lead for good at 14-7. Falcon scored his second to make it 21-7 and then after Alabama scored again, the Tigers reeled off six tries before Alabama finished the scoring off with a late try.

Joe Ruocco, Cameron Troxler, Trevor O’Neal, Todd Dupre, Zach Stratton, and Wes LaBorde all scored for LSU, with Troxler adding one conversion and Alec Miller kicked four.
