Should we have moved Life up to #3 or #2?
We thought about it. We thought about it quite carefully. However, while history shouldn't be the be-all when you rank college teams, it's worth noting that Life and Lindenwood have a good rivalry and generally Lindenwood has had the better part of that rivalry. Yes Life beat Lindenwood last year, but Lindenwood beat Life twice after that.
So ... it's tough to just move a team past another in this kind of situation when they haven't played each other. Check back with us next week and we might have changed our mind.
Kudos to Texas A&M for taking a tour of Colorado and playing two tough games, in which they went a creditable 1-1.
Colorado State continues to log good results and their win over Utah State secures that. The Rams move up three spots to #12. Mary Washington also moves up three spots to #15 after beating Mount St. Mary's.
