The Friendship Cup returns as a high-level high school invitational tournament for its second year.

The event, held in Tennessee, was a massive success last year as several highly-ranked teams played against each other, testing themselves at the highest levels.

What the Friendship Cup Told Us

We're back for another go, running from March 27-29 in Nashville, Tenn.

In 2025, the performance of Cavemen out of American Fork, Utah actually earned them an invitation to the Boys HS National Championships. Certainly this tournament has an effect on seedings.

Teams will play shortened games with unfamiliar matchups being the goal.

Charlotte Cardinals, Charlotte Tigers, Pendleton, Okapi, The Woodlands, Raptor Rugby, and American Fork Cavemen are all slated to play in the boys bracket.

There is, apparently, space for one more team. You can reach out to Mike Orefice at mike@peakrugbyusa.com if you want to compete.

In the girls bracket, Father Ryan, United out of Utah, Columbia Central, Charlotte Cardinals, Pendleton, and The Woodlands are all slated to play as well.
