The USA and Maori All Blacks have named their lineups to face each other Friday in Chicago.

Todd Clever will captain the USA, which features six players on overseas contracts in the starting 15. Head Coach John Mitchell has made some big shifts in this non-text clash. Nick Civetta, the former Notre Dame All American, finally gets his first USA run-on (albeit not a cap yet). The lock forward has been playing professionally in Italy and now at Newcastle in the English Premiership, but has not made it past the USA Selects level until now. 

Will Holder starts at flyhalf for a squad missing AJ MacGinty (injured). Holder showed well at fullback in June. Matai Leuta gets his first full USA look at wing, while Indiana University star Bryce Campbell continues to make a good impression. After a solid outing for the USA Selects in the Americas Pacific Rugby Challenge, Campbell now starts for the Eagles at outside center.

Among the newer players on the bench are Life University All American Alex Maughan, a prop, BYU lock and All American Matt Jensen, and Madison Hughes, the USA 7s team captain who can slot in almost anywhere on the backline. 

The USA and Maori kick off at Toyota Park in Chicago on Friday, Nov 4 at 4pm.
