The Rocky Mountain Conference kind of comes down to BYU at Colorado State.
We talked to Ben Pinkelman, Eagle 7s and 15s impresario who trained with his old team (CSU) in the summer.
"They have a great young core of guys who are talented but also committed to moving the program forward," said Pinkelman, who added that they have "incredible leadership and rugby knowledge with Mose." Meaning Head Coach Mose Timoteo.
But the Rams have some work to do against a BYU team that still has a ton of talent.
Wisconsin kind of has a must-win against Illinois, although Michigan State against Purdue and Ohio State against Minnesota feels like that, too. The Big 10 decision to split the conference into tiers a couple of years ago didn't last long, but it seems to have done the job.
In the Liberty, BC and Northeastern are both undefeated in the New England division, while Oswego and Buffalo play to see who can chase Syracuse.
Air Force at Navy is for the Shea Cup, and also part of the Commander-in-Chief Trophy series among the three military academies.
