Some time ago we at GRR World Headquarters posted a video mentioning that there were 31 national-level championships.

Well, that number has dropped a little of late, but we still have 28 competitions that, at the very least, the organization running it views it as a major championship.

Some are more all-encompassing than others. Some are more championship than others.

We don't see a ton of crossover between these competitions. Yes West Point women competed in both the CRC 7s (where they finished 2nd) and the CRAA Premier 7s (where they finished 4th). With the Rugby East splitting and the NCR teams forming the ARC, there's even less crossover.

NCR's D1 final from 2021-2024 featured six of the eight finalists from Rugby East, and two champions—Brown is the only non-Rugby East finalist or champion. So in those years one could make some direct comparisons. Now, with the separation, it's tougher.

Anyway, here are the champions. Congratulations to everyone. Winning any of these championships meant you beat a bunch of teams that are of the same background or profile as you. For some of these teams, you needed to win four or five games in a row to get there. So it's tough ... hats off to all of you.
