Preseason rankings for HS Clubs is a massive piece of guesswork.
Every club has to rely rather heavily on recruiting during the fall and in the weeks ahead. It's tough, and even teams that feel like they know what their team will look like often shrug their shoulders and say "but ... you never know."
That means we expect a lot of changes. We will see some of these Top 50 teams drop out. We will see others move up rapidly.
We've moved Valor up from last year's finish just because we've got a feeling. Danville moves up in part because we think with the news that De La Salle will play only the single-school season and wrap up early (a la St. Francis and Ignatius SF) so we might well see some DLS players play club rugby with the Oaks.
That's all speculation. We know we still see shifts.
