The Atlantis elite rugby program men’s team is set for the Serevi RugbyTown 7s, with a young group of impressive players from varied backgrounds.

While eight of the 11 players on the squad come from three clubs, how they got there is a different story. Current college players include Kutztown University star Robert Stortz and Corey Jones, out of the upstart University of Arkansas squad. 

Meanwhile, Gareth Jones is a former All American out of Temple, and Jim Rosato and Mitch Vannoy were key performers for Penn State, and Delaware, respectively. 

Goff Rugby Report profiled Ahmad Haraijly earlier this year after the former Dearborn Silverbacks U19 player worked his way into the USA 7s team mix, and other players on the team are recruits from rugby league, football, or from smaller high school or college programs. 

It is a fast, physical, athletic team, however, and Atlantis will join Denver All-Star 7s, Northeast Academy, and the Mexican national team in a very tough Pool C.
