Aircraft Charter Solutions PoW - Nick Hohlt
It’s always fun to give some notice to a player who isn’t the high-profile one on the team.
Kutztown University’s victory over Army was certainly an opportunity to notice the well-known players, such as Robert Stortz, Wes Hartmann, Jonathan Sage. But instead let’s look at Nick Hohlt.
It was, in fact, Hartmann who noted that Holt and his lock partner, Evan Anderson, were the guys who did the unheralded things to set up the tries.
“Nick is always putting in the hard work in the scrums and in tight,” said Hartmann. “Our lineouts were phenomenal and the scrums were strong.”
“We were happy that our lineouts did well,” added Hohlt. “We were able to disrupt theirs.”
The game against Army was one of momentum. And the former Fishers School standout Hohlt said momentum was crucial.
“When you hear the crowd yelling you know you’re doing something right,” he said. “The crowd was getting into it, and Army was getting into it. But we could feel the momentum shift, and kept our heads on straight. They scored in the second half, we just got into a huddle and said ‘let’s settle down and get into a groove again.’”
Providing height and a big work rate, Hohlt is a sophomore and has plenty of rugby ahead of him.
“The game against Army was extremely hard-hitting but we’re able to handle it.”
Seems like he can handle plenty.
