Eagles for Romania - Stanfill to 50
BUCHAREST, Romania – Louis Stanfill will earn his 50th cap as an Eagle Saturday, Nov. 8, as Mike Tolkin’s squad begins the European leg of its November Tour against Romania at Stadionul National Arcul de Triumf.
Stanfill Looks to Romania, not 50th Cap
When the USA plays Romania this coming weekend, it’s highly likely that Lou Stanfill will be a part of it, and, should he play, he will notch 50 caps, a milestone reached by only six other Eagles.
Eagles - Who Stayed, Who LeftThe USA Men’s National Team now looks to face Romania without some big-name players. Brett Thompson left the field early against New Zealand. He had been nursing a shoulder injury and may well have reinjured that.

What Happened to Troy Hall?Troy Hall cannot play for the USA Men's National Team for six months because he did not notify the US Anti-Doping Agency that he was making a comeback to international rugby early enough. Hall was named in the game-day squad for Saturday's test match against New Zealand, but on Saturday morning he was scratched, and Tim Stanfill was named in his place.
