Back To Basics Takes Cal Women To Conference 7s Title

The University of California women's team might not have concentrated on 7s training, but it didn't really matter.

Cal won the Pacific Mountain West women's 7s championships this past weekend at Stanford, overcoming an early loss to the hosts to beat San Francisco, Chico State, Fresno State, and, in the final, Stanford.

Men's, Women's College 7s Qualifiers Set For Stanford

The Men's Pacific Western Conference and the Women's Pacific Mountain West Conference will hold their 7s championships November 2 at Stanford University.

Pacific Mountain Competes for Place in Round of 8

Tomorrow, University of Washington (North #2), Chico State (West #2), UC Berkeley (West #3), UCSD (South #1), UCLA (South #2), Washington State (North #1), Arizona State (South #3), and UC Davis (West #1) will be competing in the Pacific Mountain Rugby Conference playoffs and a place in the national Women's DI Spring Quarterfinals.
