The Northern Lights Men's Collegiate Rugby Conference is a collegiate rugby conference that competes under the umbrella of National Collegiate Rugby (NCR). It is a part of the larger college rugby structure, which includes various leagues and divisions for men's and women's teams. The conference was listed as an organization on Exposure Rugby's event platform for the 2025-2026 season.

Duluth Opens League Season With Win

The University of Minnesota Duluth Fighting Penguins opened up their defense of their national DII title with a 36-7 victory over North Dakota State Saturday.

It was the first league game for new Head Coach Dean Walsh, who has taken over from Jeramy Katchuba, who has stepped back to spend more time with his family.

The defending national DII champs, Minnesota-Duluth, is of course back, with tough opposition Mankato, Bemidji State, and North Dakota State hoping to bring UMD back down to earth.
