Women’s NCR Division I (NCR WD1) is one of the top levels of collegiate rugby competition under National Collegiate Rugby (NCR), showcasing some of the strongest and most established women’s club programs in the country. The division emphasizes high-level play, athlete development, and national competition, with regional conferences feeding into postseason championships. Teams in NCR Women’s D1 are typically well-organized and competitive, often featuring robust coaching staffs and strong school support. It represents the pinnacle of women’s club rugby within NCR’s collegiate structure, distinct from the NCAA-aligned varsity programs governed by NIRA.
