Quinnipiac Drops Rugby as a Women's Varsity Sport

Quinnipiac University has announced that it will discontinue women's rugby as a NCAA varsity spot, and will instead add men's distance running to their list of spots.

This announcement comes as a blow in part because Quinnipiac was among the first NCAA programs and Head Coach Rebecca Carlson has been at the forefront of pushing for full NCAA for women's rugby.

Life Sparkles in Lightning-Shortened Women's D1 Final

Life University is, as expected, the CRAA Women's D1 champions.

The way they  accomplished that feat was, unfortunately, not what anyone would have wanted. Their quarterfinal game was a forfeit. Their semifinal game was won by three digits. Their final was called early.
