Finalists for MA Sorensen Award Named
The finalists for the 2022-2023 MA Sorensen Award have been selected.
With a massive help from the fans and the teams in college rugby, who help vote for these finalists, the nominee list was whittled down to a finalist group of five players.
Those players are:

Mae Sagapolu, Central Washington
Tiahna Padilla, Harvard
Stanford, BYU Move On in CRAA Women D1 Playoffs
Stanford defeated Grand Canyon 39-22 in the CRAA Women's D1 spring quarterfinals Friday at Steuber Rugby Stadium in Palo Alto, Calif.
Also in Stanford BYU took on Cal and Sac State played San Diego State in a D2 quarterfinal. Sac State beat SD SU 41-12.
Sacred Heart Survives Shark Attack 7s
Sacred Heart put together all the pieces of the puzzle to win the Shawk Attack 7s Sunday in Long Island.
Hosted by LIU, the Shark Attack 7s was the opening salvo in what is expected to be an annual showcase for NIRA rugby 7s.

National Collegiate Rugby is releasing an open letter to its members outlining its current relationship with USA Rugby.
The letter essentially says what USA Rugby representatives have been saying for the last couple of months: "we'd like the other side to see things our way, but right now we're at an impasse."
