Cal won the West Coast 7s in impressive style this weekend, going 4-0 and outscoring opponents 142-26 (Cal Wins West Coast 7s)
Arizona State took 2nd and Arizona 3rd, while San Diego State won the Plate, and Southern California the Bowl.

RPI Shocker Highlights Tri-State Race
In perhaps the biggest upset of the weekend in Men’s DII College rugby, RPI defeated Vassar.
It wasn’t so much the fact that Rensselaer Polytechnic won the game, but the fact that the scoreline was 56-14. RPI is just outside the Goff Rugby Report rankings, while Vassar was ranked #28.
ECRC Latest - BC Wins, AIC Rolls
Boston College moved to 4-0 in the ECRC Sunday with a 27-16 defeat of previously 3-1 New England College, putting the Eagles on equal footing with undefeated AIC.
BC actually gave up their first points of their conference season in this game, having logged three straight shutouts. Still, the Eagles were pleased to have dispatched the Lions.
Rugby East Latest - KU Holds Off Iona
Kutztown University held off a tough Iona College team 33-24 Sunday in Rugby East action to keep pace with undefeated Army.
In a very chippy game, Iona did well to kick for field position and pressure Kutztown defensively.
Syracuse Hammerheads Show Teeth
Syracuse University defeated the US Merchant Marine Academy 42-24 Saturday to move to 3-1 and put the Hammerheads squarely in the hunt in the Empire Rugby Conference.
With Stony Brook chugging along and Colgate emerging as a solid contender, the Hammerheads have cruised silently among the swimmers taking bites out of the competition.
