D1A Rankings for 2025-26 Week 19

We have a couple of shifts in this ranking while we still wait for some major matchups.

Cal could be #1 at this point, but we still wait. Really the basis of their ranking right now is two wins over UCLA. We need more data. Chances are, however, that if things go as we expect, they will move to #1 at some point.

Cal Scores Many Ways in Win Over UCLA

GRR’s #2 Cal defeated UCLA 60-14 in LA, unleashing a high-skill attack that was difficult to contain.

Quick ball and smart ball movement kept UCLA scrambling.

The Bears opened the scoring in the first five phases. They kicked off and won the ball back, worked their way to the right and then quickly snapped it left before a quick pick-and go from lock Miles Malone got them over.

Weather has forced one match in Florida’s D1AA league to move to another weekend, but two are hoping to get the games in if, as the poet Tom Petty says, “those orange groves don’t freeze.”

Which they might.
