It's been an extra week since we updated our D1AA rankings and a lot happened there.
Basically, the #1 and #2 teams both lost, and then the team that beat #2 (South Carolina) lost to someone else.
In the end, we've got a new #1, of course, and potentially a really interesting playoffs. Northeastern's slipup vs Yale is an interesting one because the Huskies looked very strong in Liberty play. They slip down.
Boston College, meanwhile, moves up to #6 and really they could easily be higher.
Remember that this ranking includes NCR and CRAA teams. So Iowa State or Loyola of New Orleans won't be in the NCR playoffs. They will be in the CRAA playoffs. We also have kept out the CRAA Florida and California teams because while some play this fall, they don't play a lot in the fall. We, instead, opt for a separate ranking starting in the New Year.
